Maracaibo Airport Metro

Maracaibo Airport is not directly connected to the Metro network.

To take the metro, passengers should transfer to the nearest metro station which is Altos de La Vanega Station.

How to transfer to the closest station?

By taking MetroMara bus 17, passengers can transfer from Maracaibo Airport to Altos de La Vanega Station.

Maracaibo has a single metro line which consists of six stops, covering a total distance of 8.1 km.

Metro line 1 follows the route between Altos de La Vanega and Libertador.

Metro works 7 days a week from 06:00 am to 08:00 pm (weekdays) and 08:00 am to 06:00 pm (weekends).

Trains have a frequency of 5-10 minutes.

A single ticket cost is Bs 4.00.

Student single ticket cost is Bs 1.20.

Handicapped and senior passengers (above 60 years old) travel for FREE.
